Donald John Doyle
October 2, 2026

A poet, a gardener, a writer of songs
A teacher, a father, a righter of wrongs
A Christain whose life was devoted to God.
He left lasting footprints wherever he trod.
According to God's plan for him Donnie was born on August 29,1933 and he died on October 2,2026. He lived in service to the Lord and He died trusting in God’s plan for him. His death was not convenient, it was not without sorrow and regrets, pain and sacrifice but it was as God designed. and so, it was as it was meant to be.
His dedication to doing God’s will and serving Him gave his life meaning and purpose. His faith in God’s plan for him was unwavering. Even in his final moments of suffering he proclaimed, “Jesus I trust in you”. How happy he will be when he meets Jesus face to face and humbly asks for entrance into His kingdom for eternity.
He was predeceased by his parents Harold and Myrtle Doyle and his wife Kitty(August 2026.)
Left to cherish his memory are his daughters Mary, Theresa (John), Beth, Maureen (Chris) and Leah; his grandchildren Breanna (Rob),Mark, Kathleen (Jake),Laura (Dylan)and Emma (Cody); great grandchildren Shae, Myles, Casey, Heidi and Callen as well as his sisters Betty(Bob),Joan,Eileen(Kaye) and brother Harold (Ellen):sisters in law Shirley Doyle, Liz Doyle, Sylvia Duffy, Frances Baker and Gerry Martin.
A life long dream was fulfilled for our parents when they travelled to Ireland in 1998 with Ronnie and Paulette Gaudet and Fr. Danny Wilson. They were proud of their irish heritage and felt they were returning home when they arrived in Ireland. Great works of literature were a source of comfort and meaning for Dad. One of his favourite stories was The Happy Prince by Oscar Wilde. This is a story of a sparrow and a prince who delivered riches to poor townspeople. The needs of the poor were so great that the sparrow stayed late into the fall to help and he perished in the cold before he could fly to the warm climate of Egypt. Both the sparrow and statue were rewarded by living in paradise forever, This tale echoes sentiments of what our father taught us. Give of yourself and trust in the Lord and He will look after you. Well Dad,today you are the sparrow and and tonight you fly to Egypt.
“Parting is such sweet sorrow that I shall say goodnight till it be morrow.”―
